General purpose grade material shall have a compositon per ASTM A182&SEMI F20 ,the limited Sulfur0.012% ,the range of Wt% of Carbon 0.03%max, and 316L inherently exhibits enhanced resistance to pitting due to its molybdenmum(Mo)content.
Since our uptream follow the VIM-VAR melting process, it ensures our material better both in microstructure forms and presentation on corrosion Resistance.
